Paul Scofield, 1922-2008.

CNN is reporting that Paul Scofield has died at age 86.

The English actor had more stage credits than film (16), but was nominated for 2 Oscars, winning for A Man For All Seasons.

He was directed twice by only one director, Peter Brook.
